Facebook Twitter Google Plus Do you want your children to live in your community when they grow up? Why or why not? TAGS: Children, Community, Housing, Safety Todd I would love for my children to grow-up in the Bayview community, but I am not sure it is going to happen. Like everyone – I’m concerned about schools, safety, and taxes. Also I want to see places like Pemco (across from Southeastern District Police station), demolished or refurbished. In its place, it would be great to see a community garden or even a farm. Something to show residents that there are signs of life other than new gas stations and McDonalds. Kids need to see productive community members and inspiring visuals. That can be difficult amidst deteriorating industrial eye sores that keep helpful people from moving in.
